MMSA juniors attended the National College Fair, which took place in Novi, Michigan this year. Admission representatives from schools across the country were all gathered in one place. At the fair, students were encouraged to learn about these colleges to help them sort through the qualities they’re looking for in a college. Students were able to pick up brochures and other materials about the schools that interest them and ask questions to the representatives such as; What’s college life like? What majors are popular on your campus?
By having the admission reps to scan their registration barcodes, they established an easy way to help colleges follow up with them after the fair. Students took advantage of individualized help at the special Financial Aid and College Advising Booths. They also gathered beneficial information by attending workshop sessions on various matters including College Search, Financial Aid, and Standardized Tests.
