16 High School Students of Michigan Math and Science Academy learned about the latest business technologies during the SAP® Young Thinkers Program hosted by SAP University Alliance and the Seidman College of Business. The event was held On February 10th, 2017 at the Grand Valley State University’s Seidman College of Business in Grand Rapids
Students from Michigan Math and Science Academy spent the day participating in hands-on exercises that tested their analytical and creative thinking skills, while learning about careers in business and technology. The program aims to help youth understand Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and its impact on businesses and everyday life. ERP refers to the automation and integration of a company’s core business to help focus on effectiveness and simplified success. The students participated in a 3 round ERP simulation game and had a chance to experience how the supply chain management works by dividing into groups. At the end of the competition, complimentary gifts from sponsors were handed out for all of the students.
